1. Trademark Rights
Hilton Head Soap Co. owns and uses trademarks and service marks in connection with its products, packaging, marketing, and brand identity. The absence of a name, logo, or slogan from this list does not constitute a waiver of any trademark or other intellectual property rights of Hilton Head Soap Co. Unauthorized use of any Hilton Head Soap Co. mark, or any confusingly similar name, phrase, design, or symbol, is prohibited and may constitute trademark infringement or unfair competition. Our marks may not be used in a manner that is likely to cause confusion, misrepresent affiliation, imply sponsorship, or dilute the distinctiveness of our brand.
Nothing in this Notice or on the Site grants any license or right to use our trademarks without our express written permission.
2. Trade Dress and Brand Identity
The distinctive look and feel of Hilton Head Soap Co. products and brand presentation may constitute protectable trade dress. This may include packaging design, labeling style, naming conventions, collection presentation, photography direction, and marketing and merchandising materials. Imitation, replication, or misappropriation of Hilton Head Soap Co. trade dress or visual identity may violate applicable law.
3. Copyright Notice
Unless otherwise stated, all content on this Site and in associated marketing materials is owned by Hilton Head Soap Company, LLC and is protected by copyright law. This includes the Site layout and structure, product descriptions, scent narratives, blog and editorial content, photographs and videos, graphics, logos, packaging designs, icons, and original Hilton Head Soap Co. watercolor illustrations and artwork.

4. Limited License
We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive license to access and view the Site for your personal, noncommercial use. Our products are handcrafted and made in small batches. Individual sensitivities vary. We recommend reviewing ingredient information before use, performing a patch test prior to broader application, and discontinuing use if irritation occurs. Consult a physician if you are pregnant, nursing, or have known sensitivities. Unless otherwise indicated, products are intended for external use only and should be kept out of eyes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hilton Head Soap Co. is not responsible for adverse reactions, sensitivities, or misuse of products. This Notice does not replace professional medical advice.
6. Sustainability and Cruelty Free Disclosure
Hilton Head Soap Co. is committed to responsible sourcing and ethical production. We strive to use high quality materials and thoughtful formulations and to avoid unnecessary harsh ingredients where possible. We do not test finished products on animals and do not commission animal testing.
Environmental and sourcing claims are based on supplier information and internal practices and may change as regulations, materials, and industry standards evolve.
7. User Generated Content Policy
If you tag @hiltonheadsoap or use our branded hashtags, including #hiltonheadsoap, #makeeverydayavacation, and #iconicislandscents, you understand your content may be visible to us and others.
If you submit, share, or otherwise provide content to Hilton Head Soap Co., including through social media tags, hashtags, ambassador programs, reviews, direct messages, email, or uploads, you grant Hilton Head Soap Company, LLC a nonexclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, display, distribute, download, and create derivative works from such content for business purposes, including marketing, advertising, retail displays, and other brand communications, in any media now known or later developed, without additional notice or compensation.
You represent and warrant that you own the content or have all necessary rights to grant this license, that the content does not infringe third party rights, and that you are at least 18 years old or have appropriate guardian consent.
If you would like to request removal of content from our channels, please contact us and include a direct link to the content and any relevant details. Removal requests may not affect content that has been shared, cached, archived, or reposted by third parties.
8. Affiliate and Influencer Disclosure
Hilton Head Soap Co. may work with affiliates, influencers, and content creators who may receive compensation, which can include gifted products, commissions, or paid collaborations. Partners are expected to comply with applicable Federal Trade Commission endorsement guidelines and to use clear disclosures when required, such as “Ad,” “Sponsored,” or “Gifted.”
We reserve the right to monitor for compliance and to suspend or remove partners from programs for noncompliance.
9. California Proposition 65 Notice
California’s Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings if certain products expose consumers to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm.
Hilton Head Soap Co. does not intentionally add listed Proposition 65 chemicals to products. However, due to the nature of certain raw materials, fragrance components, botanical extracts, or candle combustion byproducts, trace amounts of listed substances may be present.
